Transcript Workspace Questions

What is AI Transcription?

Self-service AI transcription with the standard transcript style, timecodes, speaker-name changes, and supported downloads. You review the result in Transcript Workspace using the tools included with your access.

What audio or video files can I upload?

Transcript Workspace accepts supported audio and video files including MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC, FLAC, OGG, OPUS, MP4, MOV, AVI, and WebM files.

What affects AI transcription accuracy?

Clear audio and useful names, spellings, organizations, acronyms, or project dictionary terms can help improve the AI-generated transcript, but you should still review the completed transcript.

What can I do without Transcript Editor Membership?

AI Transcription Only includes basic transcript review, the standard transcript template, timecode controls, speaker-name changes, and downloads in DOCX, PDF, TXT, SRT, and VTT formats.

Does Transcript Editor Membership include human or professional review?

No. Human Review after AI Transcription does not require Transcript Editor Membership and does not unlock membership-only editing tools. Human Transcription remains a separate service and uses finished-page pricing.

Can I delete my files after completion?

Yes. When a project is complete, its deliverable is available, and its payment requirements are satisfied, the project owner can use Delete My Files to permanently remove eligible project content. Permanent deletion cannot be undone, while limited billing and audit metadata may remain.

What happens after I upload a file?

The project is created in your account and processed into an AI-generated transcript. You can follow its status from your dashboard, then open the completed transcript to review and download it.

Can meetings, interviews, lectures, webinars, Zoom or Teams recordings be transcribed?

Yes. Recordings of meetings, interviews, lectures, webinars, and Zoom or Teams sessions can be transcribed when they are uploaded in a supported audio or video format.

Ready to start a transcript?

Upload your file and review the standard transcript, with the same supported download formats available to both options. Transcript Editor Membership adds broader editing tools and multiple transcript styles. The 60-minute AI trial continues to include full editor access.
